Rehoboth Beach and Supermoons

Last week I spent four days down in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with dad's whole family. Firstly, I love family vacations. I love having everyone together and I love my family. At least most of the time, sometimes they're irritating.
My grandma rented a house-thing about a two minute walk from the beach and we all stayed there. There were enough rooms that only one person had to sleep downstairs on the pullout couch. It was such a lovely house, but somewhere I could never afford on my own. I think they said it cost something like $7,000 for the whole week. Ouch.

The view from the balcony on the roof. Gorgeous.

Photo Sunday: Aruba

Look I can actually post Photo Sunday on a SUNDAY! I am so proud of me.

Aruba is exactly what you think of when you think island vacation. The beaches were gorgeous and sunsets were magical. I loved Aruba and would definitely go back.
Though I did get stung by a jellyfish thing there. That part wasn't much fun. Pouring vinegar on it really does work though.

Have you ever been to Aruba? Where are your favorite island vacation spots? Ever been stung by a jellyfish, and if so, did you pee on it?

Photo Sunday: Supermoon in Rehoboth

Once again I am posting Photo Sunday on a day that is decidedly not Sunday. Sorry. I was in Rehoboth beach Delaware with my family and boyfriend for four days. It was lovely and I will be writing a more detailed post about it this week. Until then here is a photo from my trip.

Over the weekend there was a supermoon, which has to be one of my favorite things to witness. There is just something magical about seeing the giant moon, especially when it is reflecting off the ocean. YC, the bf, and I took tons of pictures of the moon and us posing with it. I may have felt a bit like a dork, but I got some lovely pictures like the one above.

Photo Sunday: Colorado Farm

I am totally pretending I posted this one on Sunday, because otherwise I'll feel a bit bad about myself.
Maybe I should just make it Photo Monday. Sigh.

The farm that Hope's grandparents live on in Colorado is amazing. The house is rustic and adorable, and most importantly this is the view. Look at those mountains. I could have sat on their porch for days. Also, I like this picture of Hope and I; you can see the friendship necklaces we bought on that trip. BFFs will always have matching clothes or accessories, it's a must.
